By accessing our website, purchasing a vehicle report, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our website or services.

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Any changes will take effect when published on our website and will not apply retrospectively to completed purchases.

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.

Our services are intended primarily for users within the Republic of Ireland. We make no representation that our services are suitable for use in other jurisdictions.

RegSpecs provides vehicle history reports and related vehicle information services using data obtained from reputable third-party providers, including but not limited to government agencies, finance companies, insurers, salvage databases, vehicle manufacturers, dealer networks and industry data suppliers.

Reports may include information relating to:

• Outstanding finance
• Stolen vehicle records
• Insurance write-offs
• Salvage history
• Mileage records
• NCT history
• Keeper history
• Registration changes
• Vehicle specifications
• Service history records (where available)
• Other vehicle-related information

Vehicle reports are provided for informational purposes only and are intended to assist users in making more informed decisions when buying, selling, financing or researching a vehicle.

We do not physically inspect vehicles and do not provide any assessment of roadworthiness, mechanical condition, safety, quality, fitness for purpose or overall vehicle condition.

We strongly recommend obtaining an independent mechanical inspection before purchasing any used vehicle.

We take reasonable care to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

However, all vehicle data is obtained from third-party sources and we cannot guarantee that any information contained within a report is complete, accurate, current or free from error.

Information may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable or incorrectly recorded by third-party data providers.

A clear result on any check, including finance, stolen, write-off or mileage checks, does not guarantee that no issue exists. It means that no relevant record was identified within the databases searched at the time the report was generated.

Our reports should be treated as one element of your vehicle research and not relied upon as the sole basis for any purchasing, financing or ownership decision.

Our Service History Check is a separate product from a standard vehicle history report.

Where purchased, we will submit a request to the relevant vehicle manufacturer or authorised network for any available servicing information.

The availability, completeness and accuracy of service history records depend entirely upon the records maintained by the manufacturer and authorised repair network. Coverage varies by manufacturer and vehicle age.

We cannot guarantee that service history information will be available for every vehicle.

If no service history information is available, we will provide a voucher equal to the amount paid for the Service History Check, redeemable against a future Service History Check for the same or another vehicle.

Prices displayed on our website are shown in Euros (€), unless clearly stated otherwise.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices may be displayed exclusive of VAT or other applicable taxes. Any VAT, taxes or additional charges payable will be clearly shown during checkout before payment is completed.

Payment must be received in full before a report or service is supplied.

Reports are delivered electronically immediately following successful payment.

We reserve the right to amend our prices at any time. Any changes will not affect completed purchases.

Vehicle reports and related services supplied through our website constitute digital content.

By placing an order and requesting immediate access to your report, you expressly consent to the immediate supply of digital content.

Once a vehicle report has been generated and made available to you, your statutory right to cancel may no longer apply in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

If we are unable to provide a report due to a technical fault within our systems, you may be entitled to a full refund.

Refunds will not normally be available where a report has been successfully generated and delivered, except where required by law.

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us within 14 days of the transaction.

You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Resell, redistribute or commercially exploit reports without our prior written consent;
• Use report information to identify, trace or unlawfully investigate any individual;
• Access, scrape, copy, harvest or extract data from our website using automated tools, bots, spiders, crawlers or similar technologies;
• Circumvent security measures or access controls;
• Interfere with the operation, security or performance of our website;
• Misrepresent your identity or purpose when using our services;
• Use our services in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations.

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, software, databases, report layouts and other materials, is owned by or licensed to RegSpecs and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our services for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell or create derivative works from any part of our website or reports without our prior written permission.

Reports are supplied solely for your personal use and may not be redistributed to third parties for commercial purposes.

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, Irish Data Protection legislation, the Data Protection Acts 1988–2018 and the GDPR.

By using our website, you acknowledge that we process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Vehicle registration numbers entered into our website may be logged for security, fraud prevention, service improvement and audit purposes.

Where required by law, regulation, court order or law enforcement request, we may disclose relevant information to the appropriate authorities.

We aim to keep our website available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may suspend, withdraw or restrict access to all or part of our website for maintenance, security, operational or business reasons without prior notice.

We do not guarantee that our website will be free from bugs, viruses or other harmful components.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RegSpecs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of data or loss of anticipated savings arising from the use of our website, reports or services.

Our total liability arising from any claim relating to a report or service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant report or service.

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, internet outages, telecommunications failures, cyber-attacks, supplier failures, industrial disputes, governmental action or natural disasters.

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services immediately if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or are using our services unlawfully.

Any provisions intended to survive termination, including those relating to intellectual property, liability, privacy and dispute resolution, shall continue in effect following termination.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any policies expressly referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and RegSpecs regarding the use of our services.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
